Admission Requirements
1. Domestic applicants
To qualify for admission into the Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Nursing programme, the applicant must meet the following requirements.
- The applicant must have a good first degree in a nursing or midwifery program, preferably a second-class lower or better at any accredited university.
- Domestic applicants with certificates obtained from a foreign country must have their certificates validated and certified by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
- Applicants must have a minimum of one year of work experience as a professional nurse/midwife after national service.
- The applicant must also be in good standing with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (N&MC) of Ghana.
2. Foreign Applicants
- Foreign applicants with a good first degree in nursing or midwifery, preferably a second-class lower or better at any accredited university may be considered for admission.
- All foreign applicants must have their certificates validated and certified by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).
- International applicants must show evidence of registration with their home Professional Regulatory Bodies.
- Applicants from non-English speaking countries must also show evidence of English Language proficiency.
