Background

Hani Yidaana Yussif holds a master’s degree in Geo-Information Science and Earth Observation from the University of Twente, the Netherlands and a bachelor’s degree in Geography and Resource Development from the University of Ghana. He is a results-oriented professional Planner and Sustainable Development researcher whose interests fall within Urban Resilience and Climate Change, Flood Mitigation, Environmental Justice, Participatory Planning, Energy Transition, Urban Renewal/Redevelopment, Monitoring and Evaluation, and Geospatial Technologies including GIS, Remote Sensing, and Drone/UAV applications. Establishing himself as an evidence-based planner and development practitioner with rigorous research and practical solutions that are socially just, environmentally sustainable, technologically informed and receptive to local experiences is his main professional goal.
