As Muslims around the world begin to observe the Holy month of Ramadan, on behalf of the University community, I bring warm greetings to our dear staff and students as well as all Muslims across the country.

As you commemorate this sacred and solemn period of strict observance for the faithful, I wish you a rewarding month of fasting, prayer and abstinence and may Allah accept your prayers and good deeds and forgive your transgressions and shortcomings.

Once more, may your sacrifices, supplications and devotion during the Ramadan be richly rewarded with Allah’s everlasting blessings and fill your lives with abundant Grace and Favour.
