Might Ghana Limited Donates a Motorbike to a Differently Able Student of the University for Development Studies (UDS)

On Wednesday, May 8, 2024, Might Ghana Limited, as part of their corporate social responsibility, donated a brand new motorbike to Mr. Bapuni Rayan, a level 100 student of the University for Development Studies (UDS). Mr. Bapuni is currently pursuing BEd Basic Education in the Faculty of Education, Dungu Campus. The donation was to facilitate his mobility on campus. Staff of Mighty Ghana Limited present at the ceremony were the Project Manager, Mr. Yahaya Mahama, the Quantity Surveyor, Mr. Kuusele Jonas, and the Accountant, Mr. Abdul Mumin Ibrahim. The presentation was done on behalf of the CEO of Mighty Ghana Limited, Mr. Abdul Jalil Ibrahim.

The Dean of Students of UDS, Dr. Musah Alhassan and the Vice-Dean, Dr. Umar Haruna who received the donation on behalf of the University Management acknowledged the tremendous support by Might Ghana Limited to the University. They recognized that the support provided for Mr. Rayan was just a part of their numerous assistance to the UDS Community and requested that the leader of the Mighty Ghana Ltd should endeavor to do more for the university.

Dr. Musah further entreated that as far as the motorbike will enhance mobility, safety measures must be taken into consideration and advised Mr. Rayan to always wear a safety helmet when riding.

On her part, the outgoing Central SRC President, Ms. Rukaya Hussein also played a pivotal role in getting Mr. Rayan enrolled in the UDS SRC scholarship scheme.

In addition, the representatives of Might Ghana Limited added that the school fees of Mr. Rayan will be catered for till he completes the programme in the university.

Hajia Issaka Mary, the mother of Mr. Rayan expressed her profound gratitude to the donors for assisting her son in his educational career.
