The University for Development Studies, UDS has shown up on the Reporter Status of
the World’s prestigious University Rankings by Times Higher Education.

Showing up on the Reporter Status means that UDS has, in the year under review, shown a lot of promise even though it did not meet all the criteria to be ranked.

The University of Oxford topped the ranking for the seventh consecutive year. Harvard University remained in second place, but the University of Cambridge jumped from joint fifth last year to joint third.

The Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2023 include 1,799 universities across 104 countries and regions, making it the largest and most diverse university ranking to date.

Trusted worldwide by students, teachers, governments and industry experts, this year’s league table reveals how the global higher education landscape is shifting.

The University of Oxford tops the ranking for the seventh consecutive year. Harvard University remains in second place, but the University of Cambridge jumped from fifth last year to third.

The entire University for Development Studies (UDS) community, whiles aiming at achieving higher laurels and achieving Ranking Status in the next report, is also proud of this humble but remarkable progress towards becoming one of the best Universities in the world.
