The University for Development Studies invites applications from eligible students for the EPI Scholarship.

Eligibility requirements

Applicants must:

1. Be Ghanaian Level 100 or Level 200 students enrolled full time in an accredited UDS undergraduate programme.
2. Have an established cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of at least 3.6.
3. Have WASSCE aggregate 11 or better, based on the best six subjects: three core and three electives.
4. Have attended a GES-approved senior high school and demonstrate serious financial need.
5. Show strong academic ability, determination and commitment to completing their studies.
6. Receive no other scholarship and agree not to accept another scholarship while benefiting from EPI.
7. Be willing to undertake an internship or community service in Ghana during non-school periods and work in Ghana for at least two years after graduation.
8. Level 300 students are not eligible.

Required documents

To apply for the scholarship, you are expected to submit:

1. The completed application form, including the signed applicant and parent or guardian undertakings.
2. WASSCE results and senior high school transcripts or terminal reports.
3. The UDS admission or acceptance letter and proof of registration.
4. A university transcript approved by the Examination Officer and Dean, for Level 200 applicants.
5. Evidence of academic awards or achievements and letters of recommendation.
6. Documents supporting your claim of financial need.
7. Three essays explaining 
   1. why you qualify for the scholarship;
   2. your academic and career goals and;
   3. how your education will help you contribute to Ghana.

Applications opened on Tuesday, 22 September 2026. Submit your complete application to the Directorate of International Relations and Advancement by Monday, 19 October 2026.
